Layers of Boho is a 12 × 12 inch original oil painting on canvas, inspired by a glowing storefront in Montreal that revealed itself in layers the deeper you stepped inside. From the green-and-white exterior, you entered a bright paletería, passed through to a tucked-away tiki bar and restaurant, and finally descended to a swanky mezcal bar below—each space unfolding like a set of matryoshka dolls. Painted with warm, saturated colour and an emphasis on light and depth, this intimate work captures the quiet magic of discovery and the way a single doorway can hold multiple worlds at once.
