Artist's Log: Feb 14th, 2025 – Choose Love

I can't even with what is happening in the world today. It makes me sad, mad, and so nervous for the future. All of those "heroes" of some taking up space in the news and on social feeds are assholes. They don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. What do you think they're making great? What's your definition of great?

People believe their beliefs are true. We all do this, but most times, it's only true for ourselves. We should always be questioning our beliefs and changing our minds.

When your beliefs impede anyone's freedom to be who they are–you are wrong.
When your beliefs prevent a person's autonomy over their own body–you are wrong.
When your beliefs think someone is less than you because of any kind of difference–wrong.

And when you choose hate because of what you think. Wrong.

I thought the world was supposed to get better...for everyone. What's happening now is not great, people.

It's Valentine's Day, a day celebrating love. I wish we would all remember to choose love and to know what that is.
